Join us for a weekend of painting in the White Mountains! This will be our 9th weekend at the Bartlett Inn (5th annual Fall Weekend) where locations like Pinkham Notch, Crawford Notch, The Kancamaugus, North Conway and a thousand other possibilities - from old buildings to sweeping mountain vistas - are within a short drive. You can paint alone or with others in our group and, if it is your first trip to the area our inkeepers or others in the group can point you toward your perfect painting location. In past years we've had rain for the weekend, but we've found locations with shelter or challenge ourselves with alla prima painting at the Inn.

Thursday: check in is after 2 PM, so you can paint your way up to the Bartlett Inn or scout for painting locations earlier in the day. Gather in the living room at the Inn at 5 PM to meet other group members and make dinner plans, then gather at the Inn again after dinner to chat and discuss plans for Friday.

Friday: have a hearty gourmet breakfast at the Inn and then head out to paint. Byron Carr will do a painting demo for those interested. Friday night - repeat of Thursday night.

Saturday: another hearty breakfast at the Inn, then paint. On Saturday night we order pizza, display our paintings, and discuss our experiences of the weekend.

Sunday: breakfast at the Inn, then check out at 11 AM. Many participants usually remain in the area to get in some more painting time before heading for home.

All plein air artists (or plein air collectors!) are welcome to join us for the entire weekend or any part of it. In the past we've had artists at all skill levels, so don't be shy. This is a great opportunity to "get out there" with a bunch of relaxed and friendly fellow artists. The Bartlett Inn is painter friendly and Nick and Miriam are great hosts who offer a variety of lodging options. Nick has even
joined us to paint on occasion. All reservations need to be made through the Bartlett Inn in Bartlett New Hampshire.

This is not a workshop, the only cost is lodging and meals other than breakfast, which is included with lodging at The Bartlett Inn.
